Where to get Python

Python can be installed on Macs, PCs and Raspberry Pis

Visit www.python.org for the latest version, documentation and tutorials.

On the Python website, there is a link to Downloads. The website should be able to detect the type of computer you are using and suggest a link to download the version of Python suited to that computer.

Click the yellow ‘Download Python’ button. The Python installer should then start to download. Once it has downloaded, Open the downloaded file to start the Python installer. Follow the instructions in the installer to complete the installation.

Congratulations, you now have the most up-to-date Python installed on your computer.
